These things I ponder

Today is Wednesday. About Wednesday every week my brain is full. Too full.

This morning the overload was evident.

As I stood before the mirror trying to put on mascara, I wondered how women who really cannot see without their glasses put on their eye make-up every morning.

I mean – you obviously can’t do it with your glasses ON.

I don’t see that bad without my glasses, but bad enough that I have to get really, really close to the mirror to see what I’m doing, squinting the entire time which makes the application of anything on my eyes difficult.

So I wondered – how on earth do some women make it out into the world without looking like a clown?

This question haunts me today.

I {heart} Football

Weird. I know.

I’ve always loved college football. NOT pro. Always loved high school football.

But now – now I have a new love.

Jr. High Football :)

Um, helloooo??? I may not know what position he plays, but I know a facemask when I see one. GIT YOUR HANDS OFF MY BOY’S HELMET!

Oh my – Not sure if I’ll make it through the season.

You have to be awfully brave to hold that tee-ninecy ball while some big kid is coming right at you to kick it right out of your hands.

And it was right about here that he got PLOWED. There should be a “roughing the ball holder” penalty. I’ll have to talk to the commissioner about that. Is there a national Jr. High football commissioner? There should be.

Oh sweetness. Challenging. Adorable. Firecracker. All rolled up into one.

He loves coming to the games. Today he played the part of the budding track star. It was quite the show.

This is the reason that I have a newfound passion for the GAME of football. I love #18!
